It's about fifteen minutes from downtown Birmingham and UAB, ten from Vestavia Hills and Homewood, and ten from Pelham, with a dedicated free lot right in front of the building. From the south: Pelham, Helena, Alabaster
Take I-65 North toward Birmingham. Merge onto I-459 South (Exit 250) toward Tuscaloosa, then take Exit 13B onto US-31 North toward Hoover. Continue on 31 North past the Riverchase Galleria and Costco on your left, and turn right onto Shady Crest Drive immediately past Full Moon BBQ.
From the north: Vestavia Hills, Homewood, downtown Birmingham
Take I-65 South toward Hoover. Take Exit 252 onto US-31 South. Continue on 31 South past Vestavia Hills High School; once you pass the Starbucks on your right, get ready, and turn left onto Shady Crest Drive just before Full Moon BBQ.
From the east: Mountain Brook, Highway 280, Chelsea
Follow Highway 280 West toward Birmingham and merge onto I-459 South via the ramp toward Tuscaloosa. Take Exit 13B onto US-31 North. Continue on 31 North past the Walmart Supercenter and Academy Sports, and turn right onto Shady Crest Drive just past Full Moon BBQ.
From the west: McCalla, Bessemer, Lake View
Get on I-459 North from AL-150 East or Morgan Road. Take Exit 13 for US-31 and turn left onto US-31 North. Continue past the AMC Patton Creek theater and Best Buy, and turn right onto Shady Crest Drive just past Full Moon BBQ.
Arrival and parking
Park in the dedicated lot right in front of the building; there are plenty of open spaces, it's free, and you don't need a code or validation. Enter through the main front doors. Our suite, 203, is marked in the lobby directory. The building is accessible.
If your session is by video
Don't drive to the clinic. Your secure video link arrives by email about ten minutes before your appointment. Every therapist here sees clients by video anywhere in Alabama; the only office-only services are QEEG brain mapping and neurofeedback and Emotional Transformation Therapy.
Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. All sessions are by appointment; book online or call.

Cost, insurance and teletherapy
We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama for most clinicians. Private-pay and out-of-network sessions are $250, with an income-based sliding scale, and we send a monthly superbill with the codes your insurer needs for out-of-network reimbursement. Secure video sessions are available anywhere in Alabama on the same sliding scale.
