About Dr. Jay

Jason F. Mishalanie, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist is the Clinical Director of Peak Neuroscience, LLC. He is BCIA board certified in neurofeedback and has over 18 years of experience in the field. Dr. Mishalanie is trained in the assessment, diagnosis, and psychological treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. He has over 24 years of experience in the mental health field and has worked with diverse populations to include people with chronic mental illness, developmental disorders, and traumatic brain injury. Dr. Mishalanie is also trained in individual and family therapy, behavioral and cognitive-behavioral treatment modalities, neuropsychological assessment, QEEG, EEG Neurofeedback, neurostimulation, and Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS). Dr. Mishalanie has also served as a Forensic evaluator for the Dallas County courts to include child custody and competency evaluations.

Dr. Mishalanie graduated with his Ph.D. in Physiological Psychology from Texas Christian University, and holds two Masters degrees in Clinical and Experimental Psychology. During his doctoral training, Dr. Mishalanie was trained in the area of recovery of function following brain injury while at TCU, as well as EEG evoked potential recording and analysis at the University of Texas, Medical Branch in Galveston. After serving for 10 years as the Chief Psychologist of the Developmental Disabilities division at Metrocare Services in Dallas, Dr. Mishalanie founded Peak Neuroscience, LLC in order to provide neurotherapy and psychotherapy to children and adults with a wide array of difficulties including autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, brain injury, attachment, and speech disorders.
