Rehoboth is located in Houston County in the extreme southeastern corner of Alabama. Originally named Sanders, it began as a crossroads community in the 1890s but wasn't officially incorporated until 1996. The town is part of the Dothan Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Rehoboth began as a crossroads community in the 1890s on the routes from Cottonwood to Geneva and Dothan to Graceville. Early businesses included a grist mill, sawmill, hatchery, and cotton gin. Today, Rehoboth is a thriving small town with a population of approximately 1,917 according to 2020 Census estimates.
The community is known for its excellent school system and family-friendly environment. Located just southwest of Dothan, Rehoboth offers the perfect blend of small-town charm with convenient access to larger city amenities.
