Our Services

We believe that patients should have multiple options for treatment. Taproot Therapy Collective offers both state of the art modern treatments for trauma as well as timeless healing approaches. We offer the latest brain based medicine as well as depth psychology approaches.

Taproot clinicians have training in depth psychology and brain based medicine that treats the root effects of trauma instead of merely managing or medicating the symptoms of trauma. Depth processing of trauma allows for profound and life changing healing unlike cognitive and behavioral approaches alone.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a revolutionary new trauma processing tool. It is based on the latest neuroscience available and is one of the newer treatments for PTSD. Brainspotting can rapidly reduce trauma symptoms like dissociation, anxiety, insomnia, and panic attacks.

Emotional Transformation Therapy

ETT is a cutting-edge approach that uses three decades of neuroscience research into brain science to create unprecedently fast emotional healing and personal transformation. ETT’s utilization of specific light frequency, hue, direction and eye movements engages the subcortical, mid and neocortical parts of the brain to synchronize intellectual and emotional thought.

Somatic Trauma Mapping

We use a “trauma map” to assist you in understanding how trauma is affecting your emotional reality, physical sensations, somatic feelings, posture, communication style, worldview, and unconscious reactions.

QEEG Brain Mapping

Traditional therapy and psychometric testing attempt to understand the brain from an external perspective, which may be imperfect and prone to uncertainties, subjective errors, and clinical biases. In contrast, qEEG brain mapping offers a more direct and objective way to peer inside the brain with greater clarity and accuracy.

Neurostimulation

Neurostimulation is a cutting-edge therapeutic approach that involves using targeted electrical or magnetic stimulation to modulate the activity of the brain and nervous system. It is a non-invasive or minimally invasive technique that has shown promising results in treating a wide range of neurological and psychological disorders, including depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and autism.

Neurofeedback

Through repeated sessions of neurofeedback training, individuals can learn to self-regulate their brainwave activity, potentially leading to improvements in various areas, such as attention, relaxation, and emotional regulation. Neurofeedback is commonly used in the treatment of conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, and sleep disorders, and is often used in conjunction with other therapeutic interventions.

Parts-Based Therapy

Parts based therapies that separate and explore the unconscious as a series of parts. Exploring the semi-autonomous parts or “sub-personalities” allows us to understand their development, personality, motivations, and wounds in a different way.

Jungian Therapy

Jungian psychology, named for psychologist Carl Jung, allows us to make contact with the deepest parts of the self. Because Jungian psychology uses the involves analysis and integration of our deep unconscious it is also known as depth psychology.

Meditation & Mindfulness

Modern neuroscience research show that meditation and mindfulness training reduce the symptoms of trauma and PTSD. Researchers have identified improvement in brain structure and function that are caused by trauma in patients that participate in mindfulness training.

EDMR

EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a therapeutic technique where a practitioner will have you move your eyes in a way that involves both halves of your brain in the experience of thinking.
